Last Christmas was hectic and stressful with moments of brilliance, whereas this year is a slow and dreamy holiday season at home with and empty spare bedroom (before the place is overrun with close friends up from Vancouver for our annual New Years Party).

With an unusual settling of dust a week before Christmas, I’m currently feeling, as always, grateful to be living in a winter wonderland, and grateful for my friends and family. That there are people that go out of their way because they want to be with us, whose personal well being is tied to our own. I feel, as I have for the past few months, that we have, metaphysically speaking, everything that we need in order to do all that we wish to do.

More specifically though, I’m currently importing Christmas music onto our computer against Mike’s wishes.
